Canadian Pioneers Centennial Photo Contest Pioneers, a volunteer network, is celebrating 100 years of community service in 2011. One of our goals is to provide opportunities so all Pioneers can be involved in this celebration, so we're having a monthly photo contest for our members and families. The rules are simple. Send us your Pioneers Project and Fellowship photos! Each Canadian Pioneers Chapter will have their own photo album on this website, and for 2011, a monthly winner will be chosen by that Chapter and then posted in the "Contest Winners Album". Each monthly winner will receive a small Pioneers prize donated by the Canadian Pioneers office and will be distributed to you by your Chapter Manager or Chapter President. A photo can tell a million words, so be creative, have fun and send in your photos! These photos can be from any timeframe as we're also trying to gather photos from any part of our history. We'll even establish a "Pioneering from the Past" section for historical photos that you may have. The photos will be retained on the website for the remainder of this year, and may be used in other promotional opportunities such as Pioneers newsletters, archives or by Chapter leaders to showcase Pioneering. We're also expecting to create a Pioneers calendar for 2012, so it may be possible your photo will be chosen to help represent what we do in our communities. Photos can be submitted to info@telecompioneers.ca at any time along with a few words about what the photo is about (e.g. Mainville Pioneers provided volunteers to help with the Annual Coats for Kids project, or Centreville Pioneers gather 100 food items for the local food bank to help mark 100 years of community service).
